The Role:
We’re looking for a branded podcast producer to oversee the creative process of multiple interview-based video podcasts, primarily for YouTube. You’ll collaborate closely with our internal and client teams to develop show strategies, monitor performance, and adapt content to meet audience goals. This role is is great for fueling an interest in social trends and viral moments.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead the creative direction for each episode
• Conduct in-depth research on guests, run pre-interviews, and write host briefs
• Coach and support hosts to perform at their best
• Direct recording sessions (virtually or in collaboration with studio/on-site teams)
• Story edit (on paper) and partner with video and audio editors
• Select B-roll visuals, audio, and SFX to enhance stories
• Support show development, monitor performance, and iterate strategy
• Provide input on guest pipeline and distribution (copywriting, thumbnails)
Qualifications:
• Experience producing interview-based podcasts, ideally branded
• Strong ability to connect with hosts, guests, and clients professionally
• Diligence to learn from data and continuously improve performance
• Awareness of podcasting and social trends and best practices
• Video podcasting experience is a plus
