Job Summary:
Leapswitch Networks is looking for a backend developer with strong PHP fundamentals to join our growing in-house development
team. You will contribute to building and maintaining robust web applications. 
Key Responsibilities:
● Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented backend code in PHP
● Work with MVC frameworks (Laravel/CakePHP preferred)
● Build and maintain RESTful APIs
● Collaborate with front-end developers and testers for smooth integration
● Optimize performance and scalability of applications
● Manage code versioning using Git
● Participate in code reviews, testing, and debugging

Required Skills:
● Strong grasp of core PHP concepts and OOP principles
● Familiarity with Laravel or CakePHP (either one is sufficient)
● Understanding of relational databases (MySQL)
● Basic understanding of REST APIs and HTTP methods
● Familiarity with Git and collaborative development workflows
● Ability to write clean, maintainable code following DRY principles and coding best practices
● Basic knowledge of frontend technologies like HTML, CSS, JavaScript, sufficient for integrating backend
with UI (design expertise not required)
● Willingness to learn and adapt quickly in a fast-paced environment

Preferred (Bonus) Skills:
● Knowledge of CLI, cron jobs, and API authentication methods
● Familiarity with Docker, Postman, Composer
